This afternoon the children from Years 1-6 went over to St. Mary's Church to celebrate Harvest Festival. Pupils in Years 3 and 4 had been working hard in the classroom in the build up to the service by writing some creative Harvest themed poetry and learning Harvest songs including the upbeat Harvest Samba. Each class collected donations together in order to create fabulous hampers which were carried over to church. These will be forwarded to Genesis, a charity based in Great Yarmouth who help those less fortunate then ourselves when faced with tough times. Thanks go to the parents and carers for helping the children with this.
